4 Who We Share Your Data With

We share your data only with the following parties:

  • Specialist insurance brokers: Your contact and business information to fulfil your quote request. All brokers are contractually required to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
  • Google (reCAPTCHA): Interaction data for security purposes under Google's privacy policy
  • Resend: Your email address to send confirmations and communications
  • Cloudflare: Technical data (IP, browser info) as part of CDN services

5 Your Rights Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the following rights:

  • Right to access (APP 12): You can request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Right to correction (APP 13): You can request that we correct inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading personal information
  • Right to complain: You can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached an APP

6 Notifiable Data Breaches Scheme (NDB)

If we experience a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any affected individuals, we will notify the OAIC and affected individuals as soon as practicable, unless we determine that serious harm is unlikely to result.

7 Data Retention

  • Enquiry data: We retain your contact and business information for 24 months from submission, after which it is securely deleted
  • Technical logs: Server logs and IP data are retained for 12 months
  • After deletion: Data shared with broker partners may be retained by them in accordance with their retention policies
